Our Mission
We believe that the journey of becoming and the journey of knowing are one. Within our schools we seek to create inclusive, holistic environments based on Christian values linked to British shared values where all adults and children can flourish. We want our pupils to ‘sparkle’ and to do this we aim to provide an intellectually challenging learning experience from which all pupils can flourish. We are devoted to raising pupil’s expectations and aspirations. Our aim is for each pupil to develop a deep interest in, and love for, learning. Pupils will be taught to apply this learning to the everyday world around them. Our ultimate goal is for pupils to become self-motivated, independent learners with a wide range of skills that will prove useful to them throughout their lives. Whilst engaged in this process we also want them to have fun: to enjoy their childhood. We seek to make a real difference to pupil’s lives by providing them with the skills they will require to be successful, both now, as children, and in the future. The curriculum we offer is designed to prepare them for life and work in the twenty-first century. We are committed to pupils leaving this school having achieved high standards in the basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic. In addition, we wish to inspire them by offering an exciting, broad, dynamic and varied curriculum experience that embraces the arts, music and sport.
So in essence we aim for our pupils to leave us recognising and using their unique talents and strengths, the courage and resilience to face their challenges and the love of the world around them to realise the role they play within. Our pupils will be brave and strong to use their values to guide them confidently throughout their lives and to always know where help can be found. PARCH
Our core values are PARCH - perseverance, acceptance, respect, caring and honesty. These values are central to everything we do. Everyone seeks to embody these values and we celebrate people who have displayed them in Celebration Assembly on Fridays.
