We are excited to welcome you to our vibrant Early Years classroom, where learning is an adventure filled with curiosity and exploration. Our class is led by Miss.Russell with invaluable support from our Early Years Practitioner, Mrs. Crawford. Together we create a nurturing and inspiring environment for your children.  

In our Class we embrace the fully integrated Foundation Stage, where Pre-school and Reception aged children come together to learn and grow. This dynamic approach allows our little ones to move freely between various well-resourced areas, such as creative, construction, maths, writing, snack, and outdoor play. It's all about empowering our students to make choices, regulate their responses, and develop essential life skills.  

Safety and security are our top priorities. Our team of qualified and experienced Early Years educators ensures that every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged throughout their learning journey. We want to make the transition from Early Years pre-school provision to our Reception year as seamless as possible for both children and parents.  

We believe in the power of home learning. To enhance your child's development, we provide a BugClub login that gives access to reading books tailored to the phonics we teach in class, along with engaging activities and games. We encourage you to read with your child every night, as it significantly contributes to their phonics knowledge and blending skills. Additionally, children receive sound cards in their book bags to reinforce the sounds they're learning and create words independently.  

Your children are encouraged to take part in groups, explore their ideas, and articulate their thoughts, all while building confidence and independence. We look forward to partnering with you in nurturing their love for learning and helping them thrive in this exciting stage of their education.
